It is a method of freezing various kinds of skin alternations - most frequently practiced in papilla treatment, keratosis, hyperchromia, mild hyperplasia and strawberry hemangioma. The treatment lasts for a short period of time, usually 1 - 2 minutes. The patient whilst receiving treatment experiences only slight burning sensation.

Due to the examination we are able to distinguish between pigmented nevus and other skin alterations.
